REFUND
POLICY
For Our Programs
DimeHoops Basketball reserves the right to cancel or alter the program(s) offered. If a program is cancelled, we will provide a complete refund to anyone who paid for that program. If you are wanting to cancel your registration or withdraw from one of our programs, the refund of the registration fee will be subject to the following conditions: a 10% administrative fee, a prorated adjustment based on the portion of the season that has elapsed, and the deduction of any unrecoverable costs incurred by DimeHoops Basketball. To apply for a refund, kindly send an email at admin@dimehoops.ca. Please note, all refunds (if granted) will be processed in 7 to 10 business days. Parents/players may apply for a full or partial refund of registration up until the start of the second session of the program. Unfortunately, requests made after the second session will not be eligible for any refund, unless citing extraordinary circumstances. Such requests must be made in writing to DimeHoops Basketball who will consider such requests on an individual basis and are still subject to the conditions mentioned above. In a circumstance in which the weather or events outside of our control causes a class or game cancellations, there will be no refund granted. Additionally, no refunds will be given for loss of membership privileges due to breach of our Code of Conduct or Terms and Conditions. By completing the registration for my athlete, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in the Refund Policy above, and recognize that I am waiving certain legal rights on behalf of both myself and the Athlete.

ATHLETE CODE OF CONDUCT As an athlete participating in DimeHoops Basketball, I commit to the following: 1. Respect and Sportsmanship - I will treat coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and spectators with respect at all times. - I will exhibit good sportsmanship, regardless of the outcome of the game, and will encourage my teammates to do the same. 2. Commitment and Responsibility - I will attend all practices, games, and team events punctually unless excused by my coach. - I will give my best effort during practices and games, striving to improve my skills and contribute positively to the team. - I will communicate any injuries or concerns to my coach promptly. 3. Teamwork and Collaboration - I will work cooperatively with my teammates, understanding that basketball is a team sport. - I will accept constructive criticism from my coaches and use it to improve my performance. 4. Conduct and Integrity - I will play by the rules and understand that cheating or using inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. - I will maintain a positive attitude, regardless of challenges or setbacks. 5. Representation I understand that I represent DimeHoops Basketball both on and off the court and will act in a manner that upholds the values of the organization. SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT As a parent, guardian or fan of a DimeHoops Basketball athlete, I commit to the following: 1. Support and Encouragement - I will encourage my child to do their best and to enjoy the sport, focusing on their effort and improvement rather than just the results. - I will offer positive support to all players, coaches, and referees, fostering an environment of respect and sportsmanship. 3. Respect for Coaches and Officials - I will respect the decisions made by coaches and referees, understanding that they have the best interests of the players in mind. - I will refrain from coaching or instructing my child or other players during games and practices, leaving the coaching to the team’s designated staff. 4. Communication and Involvement - I will communicate any concerns or questions to the coach or organization in a respectful and constructive manner. - I will keep informed of team events, schedules, and responsibilities, ensuring my child is prepared and on time. 5. Behavior and Conduct - I will refrain from using inappropriate language, gestures, or behavior during games and practices. - I understand that any form of physical or verbal abuse towards players, coaches, officials, or other parents will not be tolerated. 6. Support for DimeHoops Values - I will uphold the values and mission of DimeHoops Basketball, promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. * anyone that fails to adhere to the code of conduct(s) is subject to penalties that include but are not limited to; suspension of any length, complete expulsion for an indefinite amount of time, exclusion from other DimeHoops programs and/or events.

For Our Athletes
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: By registering my athlete ("the Athlete") to participate in DimeHoops Basketball programs, I, as the parent or legal guardian, acknowledge and understand that the sport of basketball involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of physical injury and property damage. I understand that: - The game of basketball is played on courts and other surfaces whose conditions are variable and unpredictable. - Participation involves interaction with other players who may behave unpredictably. - The environment, including weather and man-made obstacles or equipment, can change without notice, increasing the risk of injury or property damage. - Such risks, dangers, and hazards may be caused or contributed to by the negligence of DimeHoops Basketball, its staff, other participants, or third parties, including the failure to take reasonable steps to ensure the Athlete's safety. I am aware that injuries are common in sports, and I freely accept and assume all risks, dangers, and hazards associated with the Athlete’s participation in or attendance at DimeHoops Basketball events and activities. I fully assume all risks of possible personal injury, death, property damage, or loss on behalf of the Athlete. I understand that basketball requires significant physical exertion and acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before allowing the Athlete to participate in this or any other strenuous physical activity. 2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT: In consideration of DimeHoops Basketball accepting the Athlete as a participant or attendee, I, for myself, the Athlete, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, hereby agree to the following: - I release, waive, and forever discharge DimeHoops Basketball, its owners, sponsors, and all respective agents, employees, volunteers, officials, contractors, representatives, directors, participants, and attendees (collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions, and causes of action, whether in law or in equity, arising from death, injury, loss, or damage to the Athlete's person or property, however caused, as a result of the Athlete’s participation in or attendance at DimeHoops Basketball events. This includes claims arising from negligence, breach of contract, or breach of statutory duty of care, including any duties owed under applicable laws. - I agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Releasees from any and all liability incurred by them as a result of, or in any way connected with, the Athlete’s participation in or attendance at DimeHoops Basketball events. - I grant DimeHoops Basketball the right to use photographs, audio recordings, and/or video footage in which the Athlete appears, in any materials related to DimeHoops Basketball, including but not limited to brochures, newsletters, websites, social media, or other media platforms. 3. ACKNOWLEDGMENT: By completing the registration for my athlete, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in the above RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, and recognize that I am waiving certain legal rights on behalf of both myself and the Athlete.
